Another quote: "DYN-O-MITE!"That was the only catchphrase, Jimmie Walker said it every episode. There really aren't any other lines that would likely jar anyone's memory. Created by Norman Lear, a spin-off of Maude which was itself a spin-off of All in the Family. About Maude's maid, Florida (Esther Rolle), and her impoverished family. With Janet Jackson as a tweenage neighbor. John Amos.
Mad magazine parody called it "Good Time-Slot".

There's the title without any vowels:
G**d T*m*s
And here it is without consonants:
*oo* *i*e*
And here's a quote:
Janet Jackson: "Is he here?"
Ralph Carter: "Is who here?"
Janet Jackson: "I don't know his name, but he's tall, skinny, and beautiful."
Ralph Carter: "Hold on now. Tall, and skinny we've got, but beautiful?"

A young fellow in Russia had his name legally changed to Jesse Pinkman which seems insane. He had terrible, terrible karma.

You've got it, Scott.
A lot of people seem to view Jesse as being better than he really was. Ok, he wasn't in the same league as Walter or Gus, but he was hardly an innocent. I've seen Gale Boetticher described as an innocent as well. Apparently, as long as you're not intimidating, you get a pass.

Never understood why people liked Mike Ehrmantraut so much. I was always proud of Walt when he simply shot or ran over someone instead of murdering them with science.
So, anyway, here's a quote I don't actually remember but it seemed characteristic of the show:
"Ah, hello. Well, first of all I'd like to apologize for the behaviour of certain of my colleagues you may have seen earlier, but they are from broken homes, circus families and so on and they are in no way representative of the new modern improved British Navy. They are a small vociferous minority... and may I take this opportunity of emphasizing that there is no cannibalism in the British Navy. Absolutely none, and when I say none, I mean there is a certain amount, more than we are prepared to admit, but all new ratings are warned that if they wake up in the morning and find tooth marks at all anywhere on their bodies, they're to tell me immediately so that I can immediately take every measure to hush the whole thing up."

Sketch comedy show. I never understood why people liked this one so much:
"Now look, mate, I've definitely 'ad enough of this. That parrot is definitely deceased, and when I purchased it not 'alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk."
"Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for the fjords."
"PININ' for the FJORDS? What kind of talk is that! Look, why did he fall flat on his back the moment I got 'im home?"
"The Norwegian Blue prefers keepin' on it's back! Remarkable bird, id'nit, squire? Lovely plumage!"
"Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot when I got it home, and I discovered the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been NAILED there."

The cast of the series later made a movie financed by George Harrison that was widely considered blasphemous. Right-wing "intellectual" William F Buckley, Jr, attacked it without seeing it and thought it ended with a character named "Monty Python" being crucified.
From the show:
"And now for something completely different."

A wealthy corporate executive who has a difficult mother (Elaine Stritch):
"You want a confession? Let's get this done so I can go eat. I'm divorced. I take the Lord's name in vain often and with great relish. I hit my mother with a car, possibly by accident."

Yay! Keeping with the theme, the title of this one is also a location and a number. This gets said a lot:

Not Boston, sorry * It's a crime/detective series, but only 30 minutes (the only one of its kind that I'm aware of, but I'd be surprised if there aren't others) * Started in 2013, about to start its 8th and final season (after getting cancelled and un-cancelled) * Since you tried to guess the location and not the number... the number is 99 (but often written in words rather than numbers)
