Thought I'd keep with the superhero theme... this isn't a new show, but the episode did air recently. The quote came to mind because of the huge eye roll I did at the last line

Character 1: You can't. This enemy that we're facing is all-powerful, plus my speed is gone.

Character 2: Aren't you the Paragon of Love? Look, anyone could save the world with their speed, with their might. But it takes a real hero. A once-in-a-lifetime hero to do it with his heart.

Character 1: What is that supposed to mean?

Character 2: It means run, ___. Run toward love.

Woo! It's been a while since I've seen any episodes of Buffy, and most of them were old reruns in the middle of the night as I was trying so desperately to get my little guy to sleep haha. I'm surprised I remembered at all. XD

I definitely need one, yes It sounds like a comedy, and the first vote-y/political comedy that comes to mind is Veep. Is it Veep?

It is not Veep, but it is a comedy and it does have a fair amount of political theme, which got it cancelled at one point. But the fans revolted and got it restarted for one more season before it got canned again. It stars Tim Allen. Here's another quote:
