Cage weirdly overacted like this through half the movie. According to user reviews, it was so bad it wasn't even funny. It was Rage starring elderly California bankrupt Nicolas Cage as a former organized crime guy who was now a legitimate businessman but still a horrible person. When his daughter is kidnapped, he assumes the Russian Mafia did it since he robbed and murdered some of them several years earlier. He and his former mafia associates try to find her. They investigate by murdering people. They assume this will somehow lead to something. The Russians have the good sense to speak to people, gather information from them and thus find out what's going on. It was just awful. Filmed in Mobile, Alabama, but it was so generic it could have been anywhere. I don't think there were even any Southern accents in it. I feel like watching it again.

What a disgusting movie it sounds.
But then, I've never liked Nicholas Cage in anything anyway.

Yeah, it was just awful. There was already a movie called Rage with George C Scott as a sheep rancher whose son and flock of sheep were killed by an Army nerve gas leak. It was a true story except for the rancher taking vengeance.
