I know Katie has watching this thing. Anyone else ever seen this? I haven't watched that show in 45 years, but I was awake in the middle of the night and turned the TV on and there it was, Cannon, starring William Conrad. The main thing I remembered was his driving around in a big giant car talking on his car phone and saying "bye bye" instead of "goodbye". Now I wonder how they managed to carry on car chases in those enormous cars. It would take two minutes to turn around and parking would be terrible. I only watched it when I was home alone. Why was I alone so much? The mysteries were all pretty minimalist. He was protecting some kid (Kirby Furlong) who had witnessed a kidnapping and now had the criminals after him. William Conrad was the narrator on The Bullwinkle Show.

I didn't know about the Bullwinkle part! I don't know that I ever watched Cannon. William Conrad wasn't pulchritudinous [look it up] for my taste!

He was a little on the heavy side but he had nice even features.
Looking at internet movie database, he did a lot of narrating. Here's one of his better-known gigs:

Seeing it now makes me feel like I could be an action star even though I can't really run or get in and out of a car very fast.
And, as a tie-in with another thread elsewhere on this site, imdb.com tells us:
