I'm sitting here listening to a podcast. One of them talked about a weird kid he knew in school who would walk around carrying an index card file and each card had a different Doctor Who character on it.
Made me think back these identical twin girls at my high school. They would just sit there together gazing at their collection of 8x10 glossies of professional wrestlers. It was like they were psychic. They never spoke but knew when they were ready to exchange photos.

Long ago, I was working at a car wash. One of my co-workers spotted an old classmate walking by dressed in a court jester costume which he had worn every day in high school. I suppose he had more than one because he'd have to wash it now and then. But he apparently continued wearing it after high school. Makes a monkey out the kid with the card file. I don't have children. If I did I'd probably let them do what they want, but I think I'd put my foot down if they wanted to dress like that all the time. Weddings, funerals. Also, I wouldn't let them go to the prom with a cardboard cut-out or any other inanimate object as a date.
