Hey-- I'm currently posting "Choices of the Heart" which I write in collaboration with Alaina. After, I'll post our other stories, "Consequences," "The Path to Gratitude," and "Christmas Wishes". Hopefully, there will eventually be other stories by us as well. I'm also posting "The Secret Spaces" now which was never posted on HDA. It's a follow up to "First Encounters" but really different-- action and mystery. This is all just an FYI!  |

Cheryl's stories? They're awfully good! Harrowing, but good!  I'm posting Sentinel stories -- about one every three days or so, and they are complete as they post. If anyone's interested in them, that is. I'll weave in the Hardy/Sentinel crossovers where I think they fit best. I'm also posting the "Evergreen & friends" stories in order of their occurrence in the timeline. Just finished with January Thaw and now on to April Showers. A new chapter goes up every day. Unless I forget, or FF.net glitches, or something like that. There are a lot of stories and a lot of chapters, so it will take awhile. |

Well. I was just informed that I've reached the limit of what I am allowed to post. So now I can't update April Showers for the Hardys, or post anything new for The Sentinel. I'm beginning to not like FF.net very well.    It will be several months before I can post anything else. |

Well. I was just informed that I've reached the limit of what I am allowed to post. So now I can't update April Showers for the Hardys, or post anything new for The Sentinel. I'm beginning to not like FF.net very well. It will be several months before I can post anything else. There shouldn't be a limit. When did they start doing that? I used to upload stuff several times a day (10+) since 2011 until I left last year. |

Hi JD - there is a limit to how many documents you can have in manager on FFN, but if I recall correctly, you can delete them from manager after they are posted on the site and the story itself stays up, you just can't edit it any more. I'm about to try posting a chapter, maybe I'll delete it from manager after and see if it stays up on the site - I'd rather try it with just one chapter before I foul up any of your wonderful stories with bum advice!

Oh!!! I get it!!! JD, there's no limit. When you upload chapters in Doc Manager, you can only upload 50 at a time. For example, I uploaded 34 chapters of "Choices of the Heart" and posted them maybe once every three days. Then, when the story was done, I wanted to post "Consequences", so I began the upload process. I was only 16 chapters in when I got the same message, since I had hit 50 chapters. All you have to do is delete the chapters that have already posted, since they're already on the site. The chapters in the doc manager only have a shelf life of like 90 days anyway, and once the stories are posted, they're already on the site forever. When I realized that, I deleted all the chapters for "Choices" (you'll see the story is still there on the main page) and uploaded the 30 or so for "Consequences." And I'll do the same when the next story posts. So just delete what you posted already and you can upload to your heart's content! It's really easy. Hope that helps! |

Oh...I thought that "Delete" would remove it completely from the site.  Thank you, Cheryl and Laurie! Of course if it DOES remove the stories completely, the Sentinel ones, at least, won't make any difference, because no one reads them anyway.  |

Delete just deletes the files you've uploaded. Once you're done with them, delete them. The stories and chapters that you've uploaded will still be on the sight.
