Hi guys! Hope all of you are doing good. So, my younger brother is on his first visit to the US, and who were the first people who came in my mind? You all! His visit is an official one and he won't be able to move much from Omaha, where he is staying and working. I was wondering if any of you can suggest some good places to visit in and around there? For the weekend, maybe? He might be left with only one weekend now, though. It is a bit strange for him to go all the way there and remain in one city like that. He likes to travel and see new places. He is loving the experience, by the way. Feeling bored, though.

Hi, Ritu! I passed through Omaha once about thirty years ago, so I'm of no help at all. I remember being surprised that Boys Town was there. It looks like there are some interesting things there. www.visitomaha.com/things-to-do/attractions/

Hi Ritu, I lived in Omaha for four years while my husband was in dental school. It was nice enough, as Midwest cities go, but I can't tell you much about anything exciting to do. We liked the zoo [but then, we like zoos!]...let's see. Oh, if one goes south about an hour to Nebraska City, there's Arbor Lodge to tour. www.arbordayfarm.org/attractions/arbor-lodge.cfm.

Thanks for the suggestions! Well, the only places he visited there, after all, was the Zoo and a Hindu temple. And of course, Walmart. We also got to see part of the city thanks to the pics and a video he shared. The roads seemed straight out of some car racing video game to me.
