Perry Mason defends a housekeeper accused of murdering her wealthy eccentric employer by releasing a gorilla he kept caged in the basement.
Perry walks into the mansion. He goes upstairs. Sees the gorilla in the hallway so he ducks into a room and locks the door. In the room, the rich guy is dead and the housekeeper lies on the floor. The gorilla breaks down the door. The housekeeper tells Perry not to look at him and give him his car keys to play with and they make their escape.
They had a few close-ups of the guy in the gorilla suit. You could see into the eyeholes. I wasn't sure it wasn't supposed to be a guy in a gorilla suit.
I won't tell you how it ended, but the housekeeper was innocent.
