Jan-Michael Vincent died February 10th. His death wasn't widely reported until Friday. His first screen role was as Tony Prito in The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Chinese Junk (1967).
First thing I remember seeing him in was "Danger Island" on The Banana Splits (1968-69).

Like most 80s kids, I remember him best as Stringfellow Hawke in Airwolf. The only other things I remember him from are the miniseries The Winds of War and the surfing movie Big Wednesday. Didn't know about his HB connection. Interesting.

I knew the name, but didn't connect where from. But it was Airwolf, like Shane.
