So I was inspired to watch Yentl. Barbra Streisand plays a person named Yentl, a middle aged woman who disguises herself as a boy of indeterminate age so she can study the Talmud for some reason. She looks, sounds and acts like a 40-year-old woman, but no one suspects a thing. Everyone thinks she's a boy whose voice hasn't changed, who has no secondary sexual characteristics and wears lipstick and eye makeup. Yet she marries Amy Irving. And Barbra Streisand thinks that sexism is the only possible explanation for her not getting an Oscar for this thing.

LOL. I have never watched that movie and still don't plan too. And I agree with you. I've seen pictures from the movies.
