Hot. Not as hot as France, but hot enough. Our nice mild 80s have yielded to the sticky 90-95s; our lowest predicted temp is for Monday, 88F. I find myself wishing I could jump into my story for a few minutes. I just gave them almost two feet of snow...
What's everyone else getting?

Highs in the mid-eighties, lows around 60, low humidity. I live about an hour north of Scott, so our weather is usually similar.

Ahh, Buffalo... my father grew up in Buffalo. Still has no patience for any local 'snowmageddon' that's less than two feet. I think he did cave in and get a snowblower, though.
Really wishing my computer wasn't on the top floor of the house right now. The rest of the house is pretty good, but I have the evening sun coming in the window behind me. : p

We don't get much snow here, so when we get some, the place I work would sometimes close down. And, actually, I did drive home one day with the streets like a big sheet or ice.
But one day the place closed, but I had to go in to work anyway because we had a big delivery coming in. So I went down there. The truck driver showed up. And he was Russian. I had to explain that the place was closed because of the couple inches of snow, but he was polite about it.

Currently I am annoyed because all the fronts that come through are generating storms to my north...and my south... and occasionally even to my east, which isn't easy to do when one is as close to the coast as I am! Net result, it's about impossible to be a stormwatcher these days, and I quite resent that.
We're down to the 88-92 range for temps lately, though, so that's one good thing.

Temps are in the low 80s here and quite pleasant. However it’s very dry with little to no rain over the past month. Thank heaven for rain barrels! My tomatoes are barely doing anything because they got in the ground so late. We had a very wet spring followed by a dry summer.

Yes, we definitely need some rain. All that spring rain has worn off, and all the showers keep going around us. I think we're starting to get into the dread fall allergies, too- ragweed- 'cause all of a sudden those are bugging me more than they were!
Meanwhile, there is suddenly shelf after shelf of candy corn in the grocery store. Grrrr! It is SUMMER. I refuse to have fall!

I hear you! I love fall but when the fake pumpkins showed up at my local Kroger in JULY, that’s a bit too much!

I'm trying to put all that fall stuff on /ignore, and it's not working... but currently I'm feeling sorry for the local kids. Feels like they just got out of school and suddenly it's back-to-school time. Where did all the vacation time go? Why is it getting dark so early? Summer can't be ending, not when we're still down for 95, 94, 92, etc all this coming week...
Wish we had a Kroger around here, we have one where we stay down at the beach, and they have so much stuff that my local area grocery stores don't!

My youngest Mary has an interview at our local Kroger tomorrow afternoon. It would be her first job. I REALLY hoped she gets it. She’s still trying to complete her senior year work (although they let her take part in the graduation ceremony) she still doesn’t have her diploma. She’s been really floundering and I think a job will help her focus.

We had a few excessively hot days this summer, but for the most part it was actually a pretty cool/mild summer. Which was fine with me, as I was pregnant for most of it (baby was born on a cool, stormy day in July). Now it's just like a switch flipped and fall arrived overnight. I miss summer already. XD
