It doesn't look like we have a Happy Thread anymore, so... yeah. I wrote a story! It actually has a beginning, an end and chapters! I don't think it's the first complete thing I've written since I last sent something in to the old HDA several yonks ago... but given that I'm much better at beginnings than anything else, it is possible  I'm not promising I'll ever get it edited, or find the courage to share. Just thought I'd let you know it exists.  |

The placeholder title is actually "20k for 2020." Because when I first created the document, 20k was my minimum yearly goal (Yes, I am also aiming to read at least 20 books ) |

Between two jobs, three kids, and the Biggest Kid (husband), if I do have any downtime, I'm exhausted lol. I open a book and promptly fall asleep. 🤣 |

For a long time, I was only getting my reading in at night, before I go to sleep... but then I realized that my commute is the perfect length for radio series and audiobooks So at a rate of two books at a time, 20 is pretty doable! |

I only have a 6 minute commute each way...also, I drive a car that's only slightly younger than I am, so no CD player, AUX plug, etc. Just a radio and a broken tape player lol. Plus, I prefer to do the reading myself. I just never have the energy lol. |

My car isn't old, but it's missing an AUX plug. My previous car had one, and it's the major thing I miss about it. :/ I got a bluetooth speaker and have to settle for that My commute is 30 minutes, so... yeah |

I have a bluetooth speaker somewhere...not sure where though. Although that does nothing to extend my commute anyway lol.
