Ok, the quotes were from Futurama.
This very short quote's from a very long-running animated series which had the same creator as Futurama. It's a catchphrase of one of the main characters.

Yup. A friend from my university days used to use it from time to time. He never really managed to get it right. Not enough oomph.
Futurama is a show that gets quoted a lot - among people who've watched it. It doesn't really have any quotes that have become part of broader pop culture. The closest exceptions are a couple of quotes that have shown up in memes. One of them is the first quote I used. The other is Professor Farnsworth saying, "I don't want to live on this planet anymore."

Mine is a sitcom with a two-word title, that ended last year after 11 seasons. It's not The Office, but it does use the same technique of having the characters talk to the camera.
