It's all over now. Was more trouble than it was worth. We stayed in our own homes but exchanged food among ourselves. I thought we were going to have chicken---they sell them at the store fully cooked. In anticipation, I bought a couple of cheap cans of chicken gravy, then they sprung it on me that they were making turkey. Then my sister apparently put wine in the gravy. She's a vegetarian so she doesn't eat it, but she thought she took ordinary gravy and made it into a gourmet treat.
So not much more to report here. We ate, then I think we watched TV.

We had a pretty good Thanksgiving, surprisingly. Things have been rough lately and my mom's health has continued to decline. However, my aunt volunteered to stay with my mom on Thanksgiving so I could have the day with my family. We had a humble but delicious dinner, watched movies, played games, and, of course, napped. All in all, pretty enjoyable.
