I put on my mask and went out to the Asian market. It was nice. The place was small but there was nobody in there so it was safer than the other places.
I bought some Korean potato chips---appeared to be Lays, chicken flavor, something we don't have which were pretty good. They were very thin AND had ridges. And got some Korean Oreo cookies. They were like regular Oreos but had less of that filling that used to be made of lard.
Also got sticky rice, some Indonesian ramen and some frozen green onion pancakes.
So I was pretty happy about that.

I'm not a big fan of Asian food, except for those cheese wonton things. I do like those quite a bit. Although the oreos you mentioned sound interesting. Were they any good?

They weren't bad. The filling had more of a vanilla flavor. The rest was about the same.
It makes me think of the time I was in the first or second grade. You could get chocolate milk or plain milk, so I was trying to explain to some kid that plain milk was not "vanilla milk". He asked the teacher and the teacher agreed with him that milk came in either chocolate or vanilla.

Lol! I guess I'd never thought of plain milk as being mistaken for vanilla. But now that you mention it, I can see how it would be an easy mistake for a child to make. Not sure what was up with that teacher though! 😆
