Well, I am not sure how many are still around let alone someone who would remember me. Still.. Hello everyone! *waves* I was feeling particularly nostalgic about good old HDA days so came here to see if I can maybe see someone from that time. I really miss everyone and the chatting that used to happen there. I still read HB canon and fanfictions from time to time. Last I had read many of Paulina Ann's stories I think. Plus, fics brew in my head. There is no separating me from the Hardy world. Last year was different for everybody everywhere. I hope everyone around here is doing okay. Oh, by the way, I have a mystery for Scott. I wanna know how he can be online and yet not online? Apparently, he was 'last online' sometime in Apr 2017 and yet I am sure I spotted his name in recent threads.. Happy New Year everyone! May this year bring good tidings in every home! Be well!  |

I looked at my profile----it only said I registered in 2017. I keep coming back here. I tried to stay away for a while but I have no self-control. I think it's been twenty years. Where has my life gone?

Ritu, how nice that you dropped in! I don't think many people come here any more, but there are a few who check in occasionally.
Paulina Ann still writes Hardy fanfiction and posts on Fanfiction.net. And Cheryl did a few. The old stuff Rokia and I did are posted there, but nothing new.

Hey, I remember you too! :waves: I got a random whim to rearrange my bookshelves one evening (back around '18) and to my surprise, I got ambushed by those Boys. I spent the whole of '19 writing, mainly in Best Friends continuum. Then all this reality started happening, so I had to put them away again for a the time being. : / PSA, I just learned that there's a new Hardy Boys tv show (saw a trailer on YouTube), so I'm checking it out. Not sure about it- they've made Joe 12 and Frank 16, and I'm not exactly on board with that, but we shall see. If it isn't quite the thing, I shall check out Shaun and Parker again... |

As it happened, I enjoyed reading a few of your stories on the angelfire site in the summer of 2018. Let me see..yes, I know I read - "The Dangerous summer", "Finding Friends,making enemies", "Euphoria's grip", and "Soon". Nothing from the Best Friends continuum.. In any case, it is great to know you were writing. Hope you get to pick it up again. It would be good to have more well written fan fictions to read! |

I remember that, too; it was often chaotic in there whenever I dropped by. : D In fact, it was in the chatroom that Phoenix and I did our little inadvertent collaboration, 'Hardys For Tots'. Somewhere between 1 and 3 am, as I recall. Angelfire. I think that must've been Moonstar's site? Angelfire was one of the few web providers I never used myself, it always crashed my system with ads. : p I still seem to have the habit of breaking web providers wherever I go; I'm now over at X10, having moved off from 000Free (security breach + migration + gibberish migration instructions = find new home): stormwatcher.x10host.com/hb/hbindex.htm is my current HB home and the Best Friends...are starting to need their own page, really. |

I don't think Moonstar's site was on Angelfire, but I'm darned if I can remember what it was on. Those various chatrooms [and there were more than one] were a blast, way back when. More story collaborations were created there than one might imagine. Sparks & Evergreen, Evergreen and Kiwi, Aspen and Evergreen... Hordes of people like Amber, Annah, Austin, Alaina [how alliterative we all were!], Dawn, and her inimitable Closet of Weaponry, Jenn, Nancy Hardy, who kept animals on the chatroom back porch, Rudy, who swung from the chandelier. |

Curious...ahh, she did like I did and hosted different parts of her site on different providers. Mostly it's Geocities (Wayback machine), but that only gave 25mb of space, so you really had to branch out somehow, or have multiple accounts. She did stick a few things on Angelfire... Whoa. Including all my Telepathy stuff and Soon! Wow, I'd forgotten about this! Dang, if I'd known AF was going to stick around so long, I would've hosted there myself, and found some way to cope with the pop-up ads.
I don't remember anyone swinging from the chandeliers, I guess I should've dropped in more often! I do remember bringing in the Character Copier, though (brought it with me from another fandom) so we could run off a bunch of Franks in red swim trunks. : D

I haven't gotten terribly confused so far. I think the way they go about introducing the characters and their personalities helps with the transition.
It is OK to not like Chet, but you have to admit he has saved the Hardys from quite a few pickles with his various hobbies and whatnot!
