I haven't seen it and have no opinion, but I read these two brief synopses of a recent movie on Twitter:
"The Woman in the Window (2021): A lady who doesn’t want to go outside lets a series of actors into her house." --A.S. Hamrah
"Woman with agoraphobia never locks her front door." --Someone replying to A.S. Hamrah
I can't see it because I cancelled Netflix, but now I kind of wish I hadn't.

I'd kind of like to know what it's really about lol. This sounds like one of those "describe a movie plot badly" things; like Lord of the Rings: "group spends 9 hours returning jewelry." I also have cancelled Netflix, so I won't be of much help.

I understand that it's a bit like Rear Window. She suspects her neighbor killed his wife. I think his wife had visited her earlier then visits again to prove she hadn't been murdered but---IT WAS A DIFFERENT PERSON! Police won't believe her.
That's as much as I know or think I know.
And the neighbors may have a son who's committed a parole violation maybe.
Amy Adams, Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore.

It seems they used the actual addresses of the buildings in the movie. They were in New York and cost millions and millions of dollars.
According to something I read about writing low budget movies, if you use only one location as some cheap movies do, you need it to be a place where various people would normally go. I don't know if the home of a fabulously wealthy woman with an extremely serious anxiety disorder would qualify.

Hmm. It does sound fairly interesting though.
