I went to the theater to see the Power Rangers! I saw the previews for it before and I admit that I thought it looked interesting. Much better than that hokey show from the 90's! I took Mary to see it with me because she's becoming more and more interested in superheroes. And we loved it! I loved that the story was more about the individuals rather than one fight scene after another. And they made the Blue Ranger to be on the spectrum!! There was one point were it was rather sad and I heard my daughter sniffing next to me and I just handed her a tissue. I knew I had her hooked then. And we both burst out laughing when we hear "Go Go Power Rangers!" music playing. All in all, I was glad I went. Anyone else see it?

I have never seen Power Rangers anything (egads) so I have been less than inclined to go. I'd probably check it out on Netflix. My sweetie is a huge fan and so he went on day one, I think. He had really high praise for it, too!

He had really high praise for it, too! I was never a fan either. I watched a few episodes when it first came out because I was in charge of the children's area of the bookstore I was working in at the time and I wanted to know more about it. Talk about campy!! I will admit, however, that I thought that they guy playing Billy was a cutie-patootie!

I have not been to see it. I'm not sure that I've ever watched a complete episode. My little boy never really got into them. I'm not sure he even knows there is a PR movie out. However, he knew the Smurf movie was (even though he hasn't seen a lot of that either) but we went to see it while he was out for break.
Like Joyce, I'll admit, I really liked it! But I remember watching the Smurfs Saturday mornings as a teenager... back when they had cartoons on from the crack of dawn until noon usually. Miss that.

Still haven't watched (or wanted to watch) any of the Smurf movies. I rather enjoyed the smurfs when I was in high school but now? Not so much...

It would not have been my first choice at the movies, but then... there was the 9 year old and "The Fate of the Furious" was already sold out. Just kidding. Actually, I didn't realize there were other Smurf movies. But I don't plan to look for them.

I think this was the 3rd one - but I think this one all took place in the 'Smurf-world' and not in the 'real world'... (I did see multiple trailers for all 3, I just never saw the movies)

I remember watching Smurfs when I was little...sis and I loved it, but it drove my parents smurfy. ;D I did catch a few episodes of the Power Rangers, and I agree Billy was a rather interesting sort- had a friend who met his actor and it seems he's a very nice, down-to-earth person. But my main interest was caught because of Tommy the Green Ranger; there was a guy I worked with who looked exactly like him, so I had to tease him a little. Never did get to the movie, though.
