A helpful customer just pointed out that I had a price sticker stuck to the front of my shirt. Today I am worth all of $6.99! Not one of my better days! I think the most I've ever been priced at was $41.99 and the least - $2.99!

*GASP* I hadn't thought of that!!! And we HAVE those littel red stickers!!! Our 50% off table is the first thing you see when you walk in the door!! When I'm bored I wander around the store looking at merchandise and muttering "What can I put on the 50% off table today??"

I once bought a dress on sale in one of those designer outlet stores, 50 euro down from 200 euro..i was thrilled at myself as everyone thought i'd spent a fortune, until someone realised that i hadnt taken off the price tag which declared in huge letters "SHOP SOILED DRESS"...

So i kinda know how you feel Alaina...

Our 'markdown' tags were neon orange and neon green... back in the days when we used handheld price guns! The store-wide competition was to 'tag' someone at .05 or .01 or even .00 ("Look, you're free!").
