I did tell you folks about the new kitten/cat Shell we took in a couple months back, right? She's decided I'm the comfiest thing since...um...whatever cats think is comfy. Between Shell, Oreo, & Luna, I'm surrounded in a cuddle of cats. (Faramir squeezes in occasionally, but he prefers bugging Brett when Brett's trying to use his Mac.)

Shell very comfy. I don't know if YOU are, Zen, but the cat appears to be so!

What I like the most is that the cat's fur pattern blends so splendidly with that throw you have there.

JD, my legs are stretched out under those two throws you see there, and Shell's wedged between my legs and the pillows, purring louder than a jet engine, and I'm too kindhearted to move. Human comfort is no issue to a cat. Paulona, yeah, Shell's that lovely tiger pattern. The other side of that throw is faux fleece (part of which is under Shell) and that's the side she loves. She's a woolsucker; the moment I'm on the couch with that throw, Shell jumps up, settles in, starts kneading at the fleece against whichever part of my body is closest, and starts sucking on the cloth, purring loud enough to be heard from the next room.

Here's my pumpkin. At least the pictures aren't huge like they normally are. But there not very big either.

The pics seem the same to me, Joyce. Did you use the actual picture link? The attachment link will only show a thumbnail, but there's a regular pic link too.
you've got a gorgeous kitty there, too. Such a good pic!

Such a good pic! Really? Weird. I'm not sure it's a thumbnail but it definitely shows up smaller than Zen's photo at the top of the thread. Thanks! My daughter took that photo last Easter when she was taking a photography class in college.

FYI - when I clicked on Joyce's picture it blew up to regular size. Not sure if that's how it works for everyone. I don't see an attachment link, I just clicked on the pic.

Sophie and I were stuck indoors this rainy afternoon. I just lazed in a chair, she pretended to be sophisticated.

Turns out it's rather difficult to take good pictures of black cats... but these two are my furkids now, Sabrina (Imp), closest to the scratching post, and Sasha (Dora the Explora) standing on the broom. They do enjoy 'helping' with the housework.

At the very least, Stormwatcher, they probably enjoy supervising!

And prefers to snore rather than explore these days...

LOL, I sometimes call Sabrina my Snuggle-up-a-gus, because she does...and she snores every so often, a tiny thin 'snizzz' noise. She gets hiccups a lot too, which is always amusing.

Here's our puppy dog, Apollo. We got him about 2 years ago. He'll be 3 in December. He was a rescue who was supposed to be euthanized two days after we adopted him. He was about 8 months old when we got him and had already been adopted and returned to the pound 3 times, simply because he had so much energy (duh! He was a puppy!) We were the first family who realized puppies are high energy and his breeds (McNab and Australian shepherd) are also high energy breeds. We were ok with that because we have high energy kids and they wear him out, he wears them out and everyone goes to bed happy. :-) He's also turned out to be quite a good helper for my husband, who has a few health conditions that can make every day tasks difficult. We sure do love this pupper. :-D

Ah, here's the answer to the question I asked in another thread: what sort of dog do you have, Mamabear. Glad I kept reading the threads, because now I know!

Lol I don't know what my sister in law's train of thought was when she named her husky Zeus, but Apollo was named for the greek god. He was a rescue who has had a new name each time he got a new home so at this point he responds to most anything lol. But when we renamed him apollo, he picked up on it pretty quickly.
