I never watched it. But your post did inspire me to watch part of a YouTube clip of Circus of the Stars from the '80s.
Ricky Schroder looked nervous as he did a brief trapeze act. Just standing on that tiny platform would have been too much for me. Made me feel better about having never been a TV star.

I saw part of an episode of it. It was like "tv sex symbols" versus "variety." I was like... what the heck is variety? Anyway, that's the two teams that hubby said they were. I only gave it a passing look. Have you enjoyed it?
